Imagination is a wonderful thing. You go right ahead and think that.

Basically, what NASCAR should be.

I’m sorry, but the 5.0 murders the 6.2 in the camaros in that generation.

...except that’s 2011 ‘stang/2010 camaro...
...and this one is a very late 5th-gen.
They have changed, all the specs I have show them pretty much on par. Besides, take them around a corner and see what happens.

The camaro’s win on corners because almost every test is with michilen cup tires. It’s a joke.

The Camaros win in the corners because they have a suspension setup that isn’t from the stone age (don’t confuse this with live axle hate, it’s just a fact that live axles aren’t as good at taking corners) and because GM knows how to set up a car to handle properly, and took the time to do so.

LRA are shit, no one is arguing that. But going back to the original disagreement of OP’s picture, a camaro out drag a 5.0 mustang it does not.

We’re still doing this? OK.
I’ll concede your video to you, I looks up the specs and at that point the stang was 4.5, the camaro 4.7-4.8, but the late model shown in the picture, if an SS, is 4.3, and assuming the stang is the same year it’s identical.
Anyway I’m looking forward to the results when they he the 2016’s together.

“Anyway I’m looking forward to the results when they he the 2016’s together.”
I’m betting on the camaro. I mean, the new mustang didn’t advance as much as everyone was hoping in chassis performance. And with as much of a leap as the c7 took from the c6 surely some of that will trickle down to the camaro

We'll see. At the moment I can but dream
